Marco Polo Handbook: Cultural Facilitation Unlocked

Team building, peer-learning, networking events, and any community-based design, all depend on good facilitation. Excellent frameworks and activities exist, but most don’t consider the challenges of engaging groups that don’t share the same culture or language. That’s why we put together the Marco Polo Handbook: a facilitator’s toolbox explicitly designed with a diverse group in mind.
Culture Flip: How to do language exchange better?

The Culture Flip cards were designed to help language learners interact better at language exchange events. They present six archetypes, each with a light and dark side, representing the different default behaviours we adopt in social settings. The cards propose descriptors and activities to help learners with self-awareness and goal setting. They can also be used by teachers and facilitators to support original language / communication learning.
